Coming in January- 6 week Self Defense Program

 

This six week session will introduce participants to various self defense skills including effective and practical strikes, blocks, kicks, joint attacks and controlling skills.
Participants will learn self defense skills against various simulated attacks by safely practicing with other participants.
Sessions will include:
-Discussions on the essential elements of self defense: Fitness, Surprise and Techniques
-Exploration of the use of varying and reasonable force and techniques for different situations
-Body mechanics and exercises to improve the effectiveness of self defense techniques
-An understanding of the challenges of self defense and the need for continuing practice and advanced skills.

Program begins January 13th and runs for 6 consecutive Saturdays from 2 to 3:30pm.
Led my Sensei David Shatto, a certified personal trainer and college physical education instructor who holds multiple black belts including a black belt in Judo and a fourth degree black belt in Jujutsu.

POUND and POUR night at ABC Brewing Co Mechanicsburg!

 

Join us the second Tuesday of every month at 7pm at ABC on the Carlisle Pike! Enjoy an awesome 45 minute POUND class, and then hang out with us and have a drink afterward. $10 includes the class plus one drink (beer or wine.) Please bring a yoga mat or beach towel. We'll have a few extras. You cannot use an existing package for this class. Sign up and get ready for the best girl's night out!
