Group Fitness Class Descriptions

Total Body Strength:

This 45-60 minute workout is focused solely on resistance training using weights and a higher weight/lower rep scheme to illicit maximal muscular effort. The benefits of strength training go beyond increased strength and include better functional movement, increased bone density, physique changes, enhanced mood/emotional well-being, and more. This small group session is led by a personal trainer who will give you personalized feedback and assist you with weight selection. All levels are welcome. 

Pilates Small Group Equipment:
This small group session utilizes the Pilates Reformer, Chair, jumpboard and other equipment to deliver a full-body workout that will strengthen the core, lengthen muscles, increase mobility, and enhance the mind/body connection.

TRX Strong:
This class is all about getting a great head to toe workout using your body and the TRX suspension trainer. Our qualified instructors will lead you through this resistance-based workout that will leave every muscle feeling well-utilized! All levels welcome.

Low Intensity Training (LIT):
LIT training is lower impact/intensity training. The class involves a perfect mix of strength and cardio training using bodyweight, bands, dumbbells and other equipment. You will work hard and get your sweat on but with little impact on the joints. This is a great place for beginners, those easing back into exercise after a hiatus, or just anyone looking for an effective but more gentle workout.

Weekend Warrior Bootcamp:
The name says it all! If you only get to one class all week, this is the one! Like most bootcamps, it will provide a challenging mix of cardio and strength training, but modifications are offered to accommodate most levels. Start your weekend off right by getting your sweat on with us!

This high-energy workout challenges the beginner and elite athlete alike. Build stamina, improve coordination and flexibility, and burn calories as you build lean muscle with this fun and challenging workout. This class utilizes boxing gloves and bags to incorporate fundamental boxing skills such as punching, footwork, and more.

Basic Self Defense-
This course is designed to demonstrate effective techniques for real world confrontational scenarios. Topics include self-awareness, strikes for self-defense, threat assessment, escalation of force, self-defense laws, ground grappling defense, and more. (Available upon request)

Women’s Basic Self Defense-
Women’s self-defense is a workshop style class. The class is designed to build confidence, awareness mindset and physical defense skills. This class will give you some tools to effectively protect yourself by recognizing criminal tactics. (Available upon request)

Strength / HIIT-
This class incorporates interval training sequence with high-intensity exercises. It builds cardiovascular fitness while improving muscular strength and endurance. People are challenged to push to their limits and walk out feeling strong.

Zumba / Cardio Dance-
This class uses high- and low-intensity dance moves designed to get your heart rate up and boost cardio endurance. 45 minutes will fly by as you move to the rhythms of popular radio hits. Come dance your way into being healthier in 2023.

Row Fit-
This 45-minute small group training session will combine interval training on the rowers with full body resistance training on the turf! This is a bang for your buck workout!

Down Syndrome Fitness Class-
Young adults with Down Syndrome are welcome for this hour-long class where we’ll address strength, balance, functional training, and body control while HAVING FUN!

This class is a unique combination of power yoga and strength training designed to create a full-body workout. Combining traditional yoga poses and principles with strength training and hand weights, this high-intensity workout will leave you feeling stronger, refreshed and uplifted. All levels are welcome, modifications are offered.

Beginner Kickboxing-

Kickboxing is a full body workout for anyone looking to work up a sweat and tone their entire body. It’s fun and releases endorphins to improve your mood and elevate stress levels! You’ll likely leave your class feeling strong and confident – ready for whatever challenges the world throws at you!

This class is for beginners looking to learn the proper stance and how to throw proper jabs, crosses, uppercuts, hooks, and incorporate the proper form for sidekicks, front kicks, and roundhouse kicks.

Mat Pilates-

45-minute class devoted to core training based on the traditional teachings of Joseph Pilates with some modern twists to keep clients challenged and getting stronger. Your "powerhouse" or core is the foundation of strength for your whole body. This class will ensure those muscles are trained appropriately.

Dirty Thirty (30 minutes over Lunch)-

Drop in for a full-body circuit workout during your lunch break! We'll have stations set up throughout our main training area, where you'll get a great mix of strength and cardio conditioning.

Sign up for a spot in MINDBODY but there is wiggle room. It's not a class where you have to start on time. You're welcome to use cardio equipment before and/or after, and cooldown & stretch in the yoga room when you're finished.

Muscle Hustle-

Low impact resistance training that focuses on one muscle group at a time with light weights and lots of reps. Lifting to the beat of the music will work your muscles and have you singling along.


Get ready to tuck and pulse your way to a stronger, leaner body! Lots of repetitions with body weight, balls, bands, and light dumbbells will deliver a head-to-toe ballet and Pilates inspired workout, with extra emphasis on the lower body and core. Modifications available so most levels are welcome.
